At Summit Mind Psychiatry, PLLC, we strive to make accessing mental health care as simple and transparent as possible. Insurance billing is handled through one of two pathways, depending on your insurance plan.

 

Headway Billing

 

For most commercial insurance plans, billing and claims processing are completed securely through Headway. Depending on your individual eligibility and provider credentialing status, Headway currently supports many major insurance networks in Washington, including:

Carelon Behavioral Health

Cigna

Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey

Independence Blue Cross Pennsylvania

Regence BlueShield of Washington

Insurance coverage varies by individual plan, employer, and network. Benefits and eligibility will be verified before your first appointment whenever possible.

Washington Medicaid & TriWest

 

Patients with Washington Apple Health (Medicaid) or TriWest will be billed directly through Summit Mind Psychiatry, PLLC rather than through Headway. Claims, billing, and insurance communications for these plans will be managed independently to ensure compliance with each program's requirements.
